| Story I have always loved flowers, but the tulips bring back memories from my childhood. My mother use to receive hundreds of bulbs from a neighbor who went to Holland every year to visit family. They would bring back sacks full to plant in Appleton, Wisconsin and our spring garden took form. This picture is a study of complements in color. Green against red, orange against blue, violet against yellow. This piece is one from my Flower Series. |
